Why did you start Streaming?

I was watching horror gaming content for a while and thought it would be fun to play them myself. But I didn't want to play them alone and knew a couple of my old friends streamed on Kick.

I decided to look into a few different horror games. I did my research on how to setup everything streaming related and ordered myself a nice PC – all within about a week or two. I branched out to a variety of different games, met A LOT of awesome people, and the rest is history!

What made you stream on Kick?

I streamed on Kick because I believed in a new platform that I saw potential in.

I saw a chance to learn how to stream and grow as a creator on a new platform. I believed there was better chance for growth.... And boy I was right.

I started to learn how much Kick cared about their people and have never seen so much interaction amongst the streamers and viewers with Kick like any other platform.

What kind of Content do you Create?

I create a variety of different content, which includes horror games with a heart rate monitor. Recently my viewers and I started to roleplay in them, which is a lot of fun!

The last game I played I was acting as cop with my radio IRL. My viewers were acting as dispatch, telling me the whereabouts of the setting I was in, and helping me through the missions. Trust me it gets wild.

Story mode games, Fortnite, Call of Duty Zombies (round based ofc 😁), etc.

What are your top tips for live streaming?

You only have about 30 seconds, if that, to make a good first impression on a new viewer that comes in.

Be friendly, have fun and be yourself. Don't make the new (or recurring) viewer feel pressured to start or hold conversations.

Tell them about you and your stream – what you mainly stream, what game you're playing, and if its a story game then catch them up on where you're at. Ask them what games they like or if other viewers in conversation, bring them into that conversation. Make people feel welcomed.

Don't burn yourself streaming 12 hours a day, 7 days a week (unless it truly makes you happy). It's okay to take days off and not burn out. You're not a robot... I don't think.
