Why did you start Streaming?

I’ve been gaming and watching streamers for years, and one day my buddy was like, ‘If we’re gaming, why not stream it?’.

He showed me the ropes with OBS, and we did a few streams on another platform. But with how many streamers are on there, I remember thinking, ‘No one’s ever going to find me.’

I knew about Kick from Nickmercs and always liked the platform. So I decided to make the switch. On my very first stream, I connected with KillerxChief, and he invited me to the FreakyTV community and their Discord, telling me how supportive they are of new streamers.

Ever since then, the friendships and support I’ve found on Kick have just snowballed. Now, I’m totally hooked on streaming.

What made you stream on Kick?

From my very first stream, the Kick community has been unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Once, I had viewers from India, Canada, Britain, Saudi Arabia, and South Africa all in my chat at the same time.

It blew my mind how streaming connected me with so many like-minded people from all around the world. I wouldn’t have had the chance to meet them otherwise. Now, I’ve made it a goal—if I meet just one new person in my chat each day, it’s totally worth it.

On top of the support and positive vibes, Kick became the obvious choice for spending my afternoons unwinding after work with good friends.

What kind of Content do you Create?

I mainly play Apex Legends, Rocket League, COD, GTA, and Elden Ring, but honestly, I value the community and friendships more than the games (especially since I’m not that great at gaming).

If my chat feels like watching YouTube, listening to music, or just hanging out, that’s what we’ll do. It’s all about having a good time together.

What are your top tips for live streaming?

Engage with your chat and make them feel seen. The magic is in making new friends and ensuring everyone feels heard, especially in a world where isolation is common.

Focus on stream quality. No one’s going to stick around if your video is grainy or your audio is off. A good stream makes all the difference.

Have fun, be yourself, and build a solid community. Just enjoy yourself! When people see you're having fun, they'll want to join in.

Don’t chase fame overnight. Viewers can tell when you’re not streaming for the right reasons. If you focus on the points above, you’ll get everything you’re looking for in the long run!

Streaming Schedule

I stream Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7pm-10pm PST, but if the stream’s going well, I’ll often stay on until midnight. I also occasionally hop on for Saturday or Sunday night streams.
